Recently LostVape has just released a new mod called Paranormal DNA 250C mod, which has the same design as the previous Paranormal DNA 75C and DNA166 mod. However, there is a new function adopted in DNA 250C chip that is called Replay. As we know, DNA was the first company that invented TC mode, and then it becomes kind of a mainstream for regulated box mods. On the front side of the package we have the product name Paranormal DNA250C, logo and pictures printing. And on the opposite side we have description of the main features of this device. Also we have manufacturer’s info, warning, kit content and certificates. Under the sleeve we have the main packaging with the logo of the device and color mark. Inside the box we can see the Paranormal mod, Micro USB cable for charging and working wit Escribe software, OTG cable to use the box as power bank, black suction cup for replacing the panels, user manual, warranty card and carbon fiber panels.
LostVape Paranormal DNA 250C Mod Specifications
The Paranormal mod has a top panel for fitting 22 atomizers, soft carbon fiber inlay and wooden panels, which can be removed with suction cup. On the front side we have control panel with Fire button, LED light, screen of DNA250C, +/- button, menu button and Micro USB slot. On the bottom we have a battery door and slot for 2*18650.This battery door opens by sliding and it’s spring-load, very convenient for use. Inside we have spring-loaded contacts with correct polarity marks.
How does Replay Mode work on the LostVape Paranormal DNA 250C Mod
Replay mode works by memorizing and replicating your perfect vape. On the replay mode screen we have resistance, battery life, the 
inscription Replay, adjustable wattage, blank box and settings. To make Replay mode work we need SS, Ni or Ti wire, which is supported by TC mode. It’s unnecessary for the wire to have the same material. You can use mixed material coils, such as SS/KA1, SS/Ni or SS/NiCr. When you attach an atomizer onto the mod and press the fire button, the mod will ask if it’s new coil or old, you can choose yes or no according to the real situation.
To make the replay mode work properly, it’s better do like five standard puffs, so that the Paranormal mod can gather statistics. When you press the fire button to activate the replay function, the Paranormal mod will replay the puff and monitor the resistance of the coil, thereby will limit the opportunity to get burn hit. For more details you can go into puff info and watch what happen after you press the fire button. You can see that as the liquid became less, the mod has dropped the wattage. It has automatically adjusted the preheat curve. In the Atomizer menu tab we have Replay mode settings, adjustable resistance and wattage, replay, boost(preheat) and punch. Punch is like a boost and wattage increase. Keep in mind that the less liquid is in the cotton, the less power the Paranormal mod will deliver to the coil, so the mod will drop the wattage if the cotton becomes dry. That means the replay mode is working correctly. Overall, this is how Replay mode works, you simply save the puff and you don’t need to adjust any temp limits or do some other stuff, the Paranormal mod with DNA 250C chip will do everything by itself. It’s a great replay mode without any usage troubles.
