Exceed Edge pod system comes with replaceable coil heads and 2ml of liquid capacity. It looks a bit bigger than the other pod systems in the market, but with good battery life.

The Exceed Edge Pod kit comes in a simple tube packaging, inside which we have the Exceed Edge pod device, two spare 1.2ohm coil heads, a micro USB cable for charging, spare orings, spare plug and user manuals.
Exceed Edge Pod System Specifications
The Exceed Edge pod kit is made from zinc alloy and plastic, available in six colors. It has a replaceable 2ml cartridge with refill option, a built in battery with 650mAh capacity, an activation button and an option to turn on/off the device. It’s also compatible with EX series 1.2ohm coil heads. The Exceed Edge pod kit can be charged via micro USB with 1A current.
Exceed Edge Pod System break down
In the top of the Exceed Edge pod we have plastic cartridge, which is removable and it’s held by silicon plug and friction. The juice capacity of the cartridge is 2ml, you can install coil head in it and fill the liquid. Also the pod cartridge is completely transparent that you can observe the level of the remaining liquid. On the side of the pod cartridge there’s a fill slot, which is sealed by a silicon plug. Don’t rush filling the slot though as there’s no other hole, while you’re filling it, liquid can be forced out of the slot. At the bottom of the cartridge we have a metal holder for coil head that unscrews counter clockwise. There’s also a silicon oring on it.
Inside the kit we have two spare coil heads, which are individually packaged and it’s very good as the coil heads won’t absorb any smell of a packaging and surrounding environment. The resistance of the coil is 1.2ohm, which can be used on 8-14 watts. We have a loose MTL draw from the coils. There’re several holes for juice flow and tiny airflow hole. After you unpack the coil head you need to screw it into a metal part so as to install it into a cartridge. Inside the cartridge we have a metal shaft and silicone seal that prevents getting liquid into the shaft. Before using the pod, don’t forget to saturate the coils. Three or four drops of liquid inside the coil head should be enough. And then just let it sit five minutes to get fully saturated, so that you won’t get burn hit at first vapes.
Now let’s move on to the battery device. On the top of the battery we have a slot for pod cartridge, positive and negative contacts. On the side we have a button with exceed edge written on it. There’re a few functions with the fire button, such as clicking 5 times to turn on the device. As the bottom we have LED battery life indicator and a micro USB slot for charging.
Pros of the Exceed Edge Pod System
1. Build quality
The manufacturing quality of the Exceed Edge pod is top notch. Everything is made good and feels very comfortable, nothing rattles or crunches.
2. Triggered by fire button
Most pod devices are triggered by air draw with pressure sensor, which sometimes works incorrectly. With this Exceed pod, it fires when you hit the fire button. And when you remove your finger from button, it stops firing. Everything is logical, and you can turn off the device.
3. Large capacity & decent battery life
2ml juice capacity is enough for a long time of vaping on a MTL device. And 650mAH for a small device seems very good as well, because with regular pod systems you usually only have 300-350mAh capacity.
4. Replaceable coil heads
Replaceable coil heads is another pro for the Exceed Edge pod. You also have the opportunity to clean the cartridge itself, which means you can use different flavor liquids without mixing it.
5. Completely transparent pod cartridge
Completely transparent pod cartridge makes it possible for you to see the juice level clearly and fill it up in time before it dries out.

Cons of the Exceed Edge Pod System
1. Not very convenient to refill
While refilling the Exceed Edge pod system, you’ll need a paper towel because sometimes a few drops will be forced out to the outside of the cartridge. Keep in mind that do not rush in refilling the Exceed Edge pod, the air gets out very slow during the filling process, the liquid will come out as a result.
2. Big size
Comparing to other pod devices, the Exceed Edge pod is a bit bigger. But it has very good battery life and large liquid capacity. 2ml liquid is enough for a good amount of vaping sessions for MTL devices.
3. Constant red LED light
Wish there’s a lot more colors, because when red led is flashing, it seems the device is discharged, which turns out to be a bit confusing for us. Battery life indicator could be improved by adding more colors.
Overall the Exceed Edge Pod system is an interesting and nice device that can do loose MTL vapes. If you want to find a pod system that can be used with salt nicotine liquids or with liquids containing high percentage of regular nicotine, the Exceed Edge could be one of your best choices.
