One of the most popular subohm tanks that we’ve ever had is the SMOK TFV8 Baby Beast tank. It comes in a couple of different versions that the regular TFV8 Baby Beast is a 22mm subohm tank while the SMOK TF Tank has a diameter of 24.5mm.
When using SMOK TFV8 Baby Beast tanks you may find that some coils have a little better flavor while some have more vapor. There’re a bunch of V8 Baby coils for you to choose for your SMOK TFV8 Baby Beast tank, but which ones are the best ones?
My favorite SMOK V8 coil is the Q2 coils, which is a dual coil that gives me the best flavor, and meanwhile has the longest lifespan. Usually the other SMOK coils are able to last around one week, but with the V8 Baby Q2 coils I can get up to 2 weeks. Another reason why Q2 coils are the best is because you don’t need to fire them at a ridiculous wattage range. The sweet spot for the Q2 coils is around 60W for me and it gives me a really nice amount of flavor but not overly hot.
Then SMOK V8 Baby T8 coils can be your best choice if your don’t care about lifespan of the coil and all you want is getting the most amount of vapor. The SMOK V8 Baby T8 coil is an Octuple coil, which means it is a quad coil and each of those coils are parallel that they read at 0.15ohm. You’ll need to fire them at a much higher wattage, thus you’ll get more vapor than any other coils for the SMOK TFV8 Baby Beast Tank. One of the cons of the SMOK V8 Baby T8 coil is that it has the shortest lifespan among all the SMOK V8 Baby coils. It can handle up to 110 watts, and I found the sweet spot for this coil is around 70 watts.
Side tips
When priming your coils, take a small sewing needle and poke a few holes in each of the wicking ports so that the coil can absorb a lot more eliquid, thus last a big longer.
