Pasito pod kit is a rebuildable pod system designed by famous vape manufacturer Smoant. Smoant has been dedicated in vape industry since 2014, they’ve achieved great success with high-quality mods such as Battlestar 200W TC box mod, Battlestar Mini 80w TC box mod, Taggerz 200w TC mod and so on. The Smoant S8 pod system were very popular as well. The vape market is saturated with tons of pod systems released every day, however, very few of them are rebuildable. First Impression
Open the box we got all the parts mentioned above. It’s a pity that no Pasito RBA section is included in the package. Since they market the rebuildable feature as a selling point for the Pasito pod kit, they should have included an RBA coil head so that consumers do not need to buy it separately. The outside of the Pasito Pod kit looks just like a lot of other pod style devices. I like the form factor of the Pasito Pod kit, it feels nice in hand and it’s easy to put it into the pocket as it’s pretty light-weight. The pod cartridge and the Pasito device are hold by magnets, not too tight or too loose. You just need to pull the pod cartridge out to refill the cartridge or replace the coil. It’s got a fire button and another smaller button that controls wattage on one side.
Build & Wick on the RBA
The RBA coil is able to accommodate a single coil build. We need to use a 510 thread adapter to put the coil into a vape mod or ohm meter to check on the resistance. Based on the size of the pod cartridge, the build deck of the RBA is a little bit small. It’s not easy to build, you can do it obviously but you need to have a small coil. 2mm max coils are recommended. Pre bend the leads and be careful not to snip the wire because those screws can accidentally cut the wire and then you got to start over. Wish they could have designed it to be a little more user-friendly. But obviously with a small deck like that it’s always going to be a little fiddly. If this is your first rebuildable you’re going to hate rebuilding. But if you’re someone that’s been rebuilding for a while and you know your way around a build deck or even you’ve done rebuilding on MTL build decks before, you’ll figure it out and be just fine.
