Today we’re going to take a look at the Kylin V2 RTA by Vandyvape. It’s an upgraded version of the original Kylin RTA, which was quite popular in 2017. Both of the Kylin RTA and Kylin V2 RTA are dual coil RTA that produce great flavor. Then we’ll compare the Kylin V2 RTA with Kylin RTA to see which one is better.
Kylin V2 RTA Packge
Inside the package you are gonna get a tank, a piece of straight glass, an extra tip, a Bag of spares with oring screws, a 510 drip tip adapter, a coil jig and a couple of pre-built coils.
Kylin V2 RTA Specifications
The Kylin V2 RTA is 46mm tall and 24mm in diameter. A 810 drip tip is pre-installed. And any drip tip under 18 millimeters won’t hang over. The included bubble glass holds 5ml of juice and the straight gloss holds 3ml of juice. The filling method on this is like we’ve seen in a lot of sub-ohm tanks, you just slide it over and fill up. It’s convenient and you don’t have to unscrew the top cap.
There are two airflow holes on the bottom and it’s not completely hollowed out inside that base so that does help with making the draw a bit smoother. The build deck supports dual coil and a single coil.
Kylin V2 RTA Pros
- The slide fill method is very convenient.
- Flavor is really good.
Kylin V2 RTA Cons
- The airflow is slant down and you know if it leaks the liquidwill come out at all. You need to wick carefully.
- The airflow is a little bit loud
Is Kylin V2 RTA better than Kylin RTA?
Generally speaking the Kylin V2 RTA has a few advantages over the Kylin RTA. It has more convenient slide to fill system while you need to unscrew the top cap to refill the Kylin RTA. When it comes to airflow, the Kylin V2 RTA is smoother than the original one, and you get better flavor as you can see all the air hits the coils on the Kylin V2 RTA directly while with the Kylin RTA, the airflow coming from the outside slots blows straight upwards, hardly hitting the coils. As far as I’m concerned, flavor is the first decide factor when choosing an RTA, so the Kylin V2 RTA is better than the Kylin RTA in my opinion.
